Stacy Garcia has been practicing law for over ten years and has prided herself in the representation of individuals in their time of need. As a defense attorney, Stacy has diligently represented clients in civil litigation and before licensing boards. She has earned a reputation for being a strong advocate who is detail-oriented and who cares about her clients. Whether it is talking through personal and professional implications of a lawsuit or board matter or defending her client in trial, Stacy honorably stands by her clients to obtain the just outcome they desire.

As a leader in her field, Stacy is continually educating herself and others about matters important to her clients. She is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Less than 10% of lawyers in Texas are board certified, and even fewer lawyers are eligible for board certification in trial law categories. This certification is a mark of distinction, reflecting a high level of competence and experience in this challenging field.

Stacy is also a proud member of the prestigious organization known as ABOTA, the American Board of Trial Advocates. ABOTA is a national association of experienced trial lawyers (both plaintiff and defense) that dedicated to (1) the preservation of the right to trial by jury guaranteed by the 7th Amendment to the US Constitution; (2) an independent judiciary; and (3) the development and support of civics education. ABOTA is an invitation-only organization in which members must have at least five years of active experience as trial lawyers, have tried at least 10 civil jury trials to conclusion, and possess additional litigation experience. Members must also exhibit the virtues of civility, integrity, and professionalism. In 2024, Stacy was honored to be elected by the Houston chapter of ABOTA as its National Board Representative, a three-year position that allows her to work on a local, state, and national level to promote civics education and professionalism in the field.

In addition to her national work with ABOTA, Stacy is a member of the Texas Association of Defense Counsel which allows her to stay at the forefront of legal developments and best practices in defense law. She is a member of the Greater Houston Society for Healthcare Risk Management where she regularly meets with various professionals in healthcare risk management to discuss and strategize about emerging issues in this area. Stacy is also a member of the Houston Bar Association, including its litigation and health law sections.

When Stacy is not in the office or the courtroom, she is spending time with her three children and husband. She can usually be found cheering on her daughters on the soccer field or watching her son play baseball.
